About Me
San Diego born and raised. I graduated from SDSU with a degree in Construction Engineering and have been working in the industry for nearly 10 years. Construction runs in my blood, I come from a family of builders: framers, electricians, plumbers, architects, and flooring installers. You could say it’s in my DNA.
Working on commercial projects has given me a wide range of experience from entertainment venues and hotels to universities, labs, bike paths, and more. That exposure has helped me build the expertise to advise on design and construction drawings. I’m passionate about teaching the next generation of builders. I volunteer at my former high school, mentoring students interested in Architecture, Construct or Engineering. I also teach Construction Management at NewSchool of Architecture & Design.
Nacida y criada en San Diego. Me gradué de SDSU con una licenciatura en Ingeniería en Construcción y he trabajado en la industria por casi 10 años. La construcción corre por mis venas: vengo de una familia de constructores—carpinteros, electricistas, plomeros, arquitectos e instaladores de pisos. Podría decirse que lo llevo en el ADN. Trabajar en proyectos comerciales me ha brindado una amplia experiencia, desde recintos de entretenimiento y hoteles hasta universidades, laboratorios, ciclovías y más. Esa exposición me ha ayudado a desarrollar la experiencia necesaria para asesorar en diseño y planos de construcción. Me apasiona enseñar a la próxima generación de constructores. Soy voluntaria en mi antigua preparatoria, orientando a estudiantes interesados en Arquitectura, Construcción o Ingeniería. También imparto clases de Gestión de la Construcción en NewSchool of Architecture & Design.
